Privacy policy

Privacy information for SSF Consumer, SSF Lead and SSF Collection.

Draft · prepared 1 October 2026
SSF’s app data practices are being verified. This draft must be finalised before it is used for app-store submission.

1. Scope & operator

This draft covers Sri Satya Finance (“SSF”), operated by SRI SATYA FINANCE CORPORATION, and the proposed SSF Consumer, SSF Lead and SSF Collection mobile applications, together with this website.

The mobile apps’ data practices still require verification before this policy takes effect.

Website privacy is separate from the information processed by the mobile apps. The website itself does not contain a loan application form or process payments.

2. The three SSF apps

SSF Consumer

The consumer app is intended for customers accessing account-related services. The final policy must identify the account, loan, repayment and support information actually used by its release build.

SSF Lead

The lead app is intended for authorised personnel managing enquiries and prospective customer records. Staff must explain the intended use of customer information and obtain any required consent before entering or uploading it.

SSF Collection

The collection app is intended for authorised personnel managing collection records and field work. Its Android source declares precise and approximate location, background location, phone-call and Bluetooth permissions. A declaration alone does not establish actual collection: SSF must verify which features use each permission, when they operate and whether information is transmitted or retained.

3. Information to be disclosed

The final policy must describe the following categories where they are used by a released app. These are review categories, not a claim that every app collects each category.

CategoryPotential use requiring confirmation
Identity & contact detailsCustomer enquiries, account identification, authorised staff login and support.
Vehicle & finance recordsVehicle assessment, loan servicing, repayment records and collection activities.
Documents, photographs & uploadsDocuments or images deliberately provided through app features. Confirm camera and photo-access behaviour.
Location & field activityConfirm the Collection app’s foreground and background location use, collection frequency and retention.
Device & diagnostic informationConfirm device identifiers, crash reports, logs, analytics and any third-party SDK data.

4. Purpose & permissions

Any final policy should connect each collected category to its specific purpose: responding to enquiries, administering finance services, managing authorised field operations, customer support, fraud prevention or applicable recordkeeping.

Permissions must be requested only for the features that need them, with a clear in-app explanation where required. Users can manage permissions in their device settings; SSF must explain the impact of declining or withdrawing a permission. Background location, if actually used, requires a specific explanation of its purpose and timing.

5. Sharing & service providers

SSF must identify the categories of recipients that actually receive information, including any hosting provider, authentication service, notification service, payment provider, analytics provider or finance partner. Sharing purposes and the applicable safeguards must be documented.

No assertion about selling data, advertising, tracking or the absence of third-party sharing is made in this draft. Those statements require confirmation against the apps, backend services and installed SDKs.

6. Retention & security

The final policy must specify retention periods or the criteria used to determine them for enquiries, accounts, documents, payment records, location records and diagnostics. Records required for an outstanding loan, legal obligation or dispute may need to be retained after an account is closed; the applicable categories and reasons must be explained.

SSF must document the security controls actually used for access, storage, transmission and authorised staff handling. No digital system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Access, correction & deletion

Customers should have a clear route to request access, correction, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and deletion of their account or information. Contact SSF using the email or phone below. SSF must confirm its identity-verification procedure before this policy is final.

See account & data requests for the current preparation status. Do not submit identity documents, passwords or financial details through an unverified channel. Deleting an app from a device does not by itself delete an SSF account or associated records.

8. This website

This website has no sign-in, enquiry submission form, payment processing, advertising scripts or analytics scripts. Its fonts and brand images are served directly with the website. It does not set application cookies or use browser storage.

The hosting infrastructure processes technical connection information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the site. SSF must confirm the hosting provider’s applicable log handling and retention for the final policy. Any changes that add forms, analytics or other services require an updated disclosure.

9. Children’s information

The finance services are intended for adults. SSF must confirm the age eligibility and controls applied to customer-facing app registration, and the process for reporting information provided by a child.

10. Updates & privacy contact

This page was prepared on 1 October 2026. It is a draft for operational verification and is not yet an effective statement of the mobile apps’ data practices.
